Welcome to The Gannochy Trust

The Gannochy Trust was founded in 1937 by Scottish businessman and philanthropist Arthur Kinmond Bell, known as A.K. Bell. His unique approach to philanthropy has matured into a lasting legacy that has improved the quality of life of many thousands of people, not only in Perth but all over Scotland.

The Gannochy Trust provide almost 300 houses for rent; manages an estate of 700 acres, including farms and woodlands; and funds charities, both in Perth and Kinross and across Scotland. Grant making and the provision of high quality affordable housing remain two of the Trust’s key activities, and you can read some of our #CharityStories found at the bottom of our Overview of Grants page here, or view a short film about our latest housing development here.
